Great value on the D42
I was looking for a new RC but also trying to save some money. I managed to grab the D42 Kei Van during a mid-year sale, which knocked a good chunk off the price. It felt like a really good deal. Shipping was free because my order went over the 100 dollar threshold. The van itself is pretty cool for what I paid. Definitely got my money's worth with this purchase.
Decent purchase, few small issues
I bought the B24 GAZ-66, the RTR version, along with a Metal Drive Shaft upgrade. The truck arrived in about 10 days, which was reasonable. The packaging was secure, and the truck looked great out of the box. Performance is pretty good for a truck in this price range, and the metal drive shaft was a good addition. My only minor issue was that the remote control felt a little cheap in hand compared to some other brands I've used. It works fine though. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about tracking, so that was positive. Overall, a solid 4-star experience, close to perfect but with room for a tiny bit of improvement on the controller feel.
Consistent quality, as always
This was my third order from WPL RC, this time I went for the B36 Ural. Like my previous purchases (a C14 and a D42), the quality is consistently good for the price point. I chose the KIT Version again and the parts fit together well. Shipping took about the same time as before, roughly two weeks to get to me in Texas. It's why I keep coming back for these models. You know what you're getting, and they deliver. No surprises, just good, fun builds every time.
Detailed D12 Kei Truck order
I ordered the D12 Kei Truck, RTR Version, and opted for the Soft Tire Upgrade and a 7.4V Li-ion Battery. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. Got the D12 mini
I just wanted a small RC truck to mess around with, so I grabbed the D12 Mini. It was pretty cheap. It got here in about a week and a half. It's a fun little truck for the money. Nothing fancy but it works. Good enough for casual driving. No complaints really.
